Nikon D4

Nikon is back with new Nikon D4!!

Nikon D4 appearance as it will be an incredibly impressive camera. Nikon has looked to its skilled user-base and tried to figure out what it needed to feature or regulate on a camera that simply a few years ago represented the most effective they were capable of. The result’s a camera with few big changes but a in depth series of little enhancements. The lower price is unsurprising given the slightly slower burst and fewer magnified viewfinder, that are the features in a dSLR for that it’s increasingly expensive to eke out 1 additional frame or a fraction of a multiple. Of course, it reportedly will retain the  viewfinder from the D3S.

The key with the D4 is that the coolness does not even get close to stopping with the rear-of-the-box features. Another nice touch is that the buttons on the high, back and side of the camera will be illuminated slightly when the camera is in use.

The ergonomic changes to the camera’s body is very conducive.Nikon has added 2 mini-joysticks to the back of the D4. These are used for choosing the AF point, with one being at intervals straightforward reach of the right hand thumb when the camera is in upright (portrait) orientation. Your thumb has to achieve a little lower down than when the camera is in horizontal format, however it’s easy to locate the controller and modification the AF point.

Again like Canon’s 1DX, moves have been made to form the ergonomics of portrait-orientation shooting more closely resemble those of shooting in landscape format. The camera now not options a dedicated AFL button, instead gaining push-button joysticks for each the vertical and landscape shooting orientations. An additional rubberized lump has also been added to supply a higher grip within the vertical orientation and an extra operate button added next to the vertical shutter button.

The advance in video capabilities is one of the biggest modification in Nikon D4 . Given the increasing demand for video footage from professional photographers, and also the unbelievable success of Canon’s 5D Mark II in the professional video market, it was inevitable that Nikon’s professional flagship would want to supply a a lot of compelling feature set than the prevailing models.

The new chip’s capability has prompted Nikon to offer an ISO vary from one hundred-12,800 that may then be extended to 50 – 204,800 (Hi4). The vital changes, beyond video, are a profusion of smaller tweaks, additions and enhancements to what was already a well worked-out camera. These embody a carbon fiber shutter rated to 400,000 actuations which will fireplace at up to 1/8000th of a second.

This would be one thing you awaiting!!!

My Dad is going to get this camera…which means that I will be getting his D2x…for freeee!! It’s going to be awesome, considering the fact that a D2x is still worth about $1000.
